Un Ponte Per… is a volunteer association established in 1991 following the Gulf War. It began as Un Ponte Per Baghdad (A Bridge For Baghdad) with the aim of organising solidarity initiatives for the benefit of Iraqi civil society, which was left devastated by war and, later, the embargo.

The Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, formerly known as the Barcelona Process, was re-launched in 2008 as the Union for the Mediterranean. The Partnership now includes all 27 member states of the European Union, along with 16 partners across the Southern Mediterranean and the Middle East.

Le partenariat euro-méditerranéen, anciennement appelé « processus de Barcelone », a été relancé et rebaptisé en 2008 « Union pour la Méditerranée ». Le partenariat réunit désormais les 27 États membres de l'Union européenne et 16 partenaires issus de la région du Sud de la Méditerranée et du Moyen-Orient.
