The decades of dictatorship and war, in addition to thirteen years of embargos (1990-2003), have plunged the country into a state of chronic crisis and emptied it of its substance. The economy has collapsed, paving the way for unbridled inflation. Without prospects, the young have become obsessed with the idea of leaving.
